Assistant Professor, Université Joseph Fourier, France
I am an Assistant Professor at Grenoble University. I majored in physics, slowly drifting towards geophysics.
My research interest is fault mechanics, investigated through a combination of borehole observations and laboratory experiments.
Within the FlowTrans project, together with Frans Aben, we plan to work on reproducing damage-healing cycles, similar to the seismic cycle experienced by faults. We combine high strain rate damage experiments, to produce samples as damaged as next to natural fault, then we heal them by percolating supersaturated fluids for several months.
Outside the lab, I enjoy exploring and discovering! I like hiking, visiting art galleries and travelling in foreign countries.
